Whitewood

Plain talk

Your file stays on the desk.

Whitewood reads invoices and photos in your browser. Guest does not need an email. Desk is billed by Stripe. We do not train on your documents.

Where does the file go?

CSV, workbooks, PDFs, and photos are opened on your machine. The table you see is built there. Download writes a new spreadsheet on your machine. Files are not uploaded to a Whitewood server.

What does Desk billing see?

Stripe collects payment for Whitewood Desk ($19/month). Stripe sees the email and card you give them. Whitewood stores a “Desk is open” note in this browser so the limit lifts. Cancel in Stripe and the charge stops; clear this browser if you want the local unlock gone too.

What about the helper scripts?

The page loads open libraries from a public CDN (SheetJS, pdf.js, Tesseract) so the desk can read files. Those libraries run in your browser. If that ever changes, this page will say so.

Do you keep invoices after I leave?

No server copy of your invoice. Refresh and the open table is gone. Desk history, if you have Desk, stays in this browser only.

Why this page exists

People already worry about dropping a real invoice on a random “PDF to Excel” site. Whitewood’s first promise is a quiet desk that does not need your file in our pocket.
